We were bussed from ChangChuen長春 to SungHuaHu淞花湖 without stopping at the provincial capital
JiLin. Many private residences were built along the dammed lake. The electricity provided the energy for
industrialization of the area. As it was dammed, the periphery of the lake was jagged, formed by the
mountains. We had a brief stop at the Turtle Island, legendarily an old turtle was let go here and his
spirit always protects the peace of the lake.
We visited PeiShan Park in the afternoon. It was the day before United Entrance Exam, surprisingly the
temple were crowded with examinees and parents spending precious money and TIME for the well-wishing of
the "God", to the Taida Alumni, this was incredible.
